1963 Pontiac Bonneville

This car is currently located at my home in Daytona Beach, FL 32114. For your consideration is an example of one of Pontiac's first real factory hot rods, a 1963 Pontiac Bonneville. Equipped the way you would want with a 389 V8 with Tri Power, Automatic Transmission, and today's modern conveniences like power steering and power brakes, makes this beauty easy to drive any day of the week! This Pontiac is what I call a 5 footer. She looks like a $30,000 car at 5 feet plus. Get closer, and you can see its not a Barrett Jackson Frame off Rotisserie Restored Award Winning car. Now, with that being said, this is by no means a rust bucket either. A longtime Florida car and it shows. It has a 15 year old Maaco paint job, but as you can see in the pics she still shines at any angle and has held up really well being in the southern climate. It is a very presentable driver quality vehicle that you can take to car shows proudly. This car is something you could drive and enjoy for years just the way it is, or throw a $5,000 paint job and a couple thousand in other odds and ends and have a $30,000 car. The bones are there. Underneath is extremely nice, very clean, straight, & finished in flat black with a light undercoat which is consistent with a factory application. It’s not all cobbled up with Auto Zone rubberized crap! Great factory floors and trunk pan are all real nice. It rides, drives, and handles very well; straight down the road, extremely tight and surprisingly easy to drive for a 55 year old car. I would not hesitate to get behind the wheel of this car with my family and drive it to a car show 100 miles away. A person of any size or age could drive this vehicle comfortably. All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges,etc are functioning properly. Engine fires right up with no smoking or noises. Transmission shifts as it should. Has a fantastic sound with Dual Exhaust. I have it set to run on just the middle carburetor, it would need progressive linkage to be purchased and installed. Interior shows well. Front bumper is a little hazy but other Chrome and stainless trim are driver quality condition like the rest of car and again show well for this kind of car at this price point.
